Snugglepot and Cuddlepie
In our homeschool, we have been studying Australia. On the recommendation of an Australian email aquaintance, I ordered the book "Snugglepot and Cuddlepie". My daughter is now completely enamored with it. Today, she brought me a present. When I unwrapped it, I found a homemade Gumbaby, complete with an acorn cap for a hat! The book doesn't do a whole lot for me, but the old-fashioned illustrations of all the chubby little Gumnuts and the Australian critters are really sweet.
Favorite quote so far: "It's better to be a kind Nut with no clothes on than an unkind one all dressed up."
