My daughter has been sick the last couple days. Today she was feeling better - even though she still can't talk much (her voice is pretty much gone.) So I took her down to the pond with a bucket, a net, and some bread, and she went fishing while I sat on the grass in the sunshine. She caught a bunch of bluegill (which we later tossed back in the pond), and then the icecream truck came by. Life is good.
