We had our first CSA pick up yesterday - I am nothing but impressed. The vegetables were absolutely beautiful, hefty portions of 7 different items. For this one, we got rhubarb, oak leaf lettuce, parsley with roots, walla walla onions (still green), radishes (in all colors and shapes), and two Asian vegetables I had never heard of before - mizuna, and pei tsai. Luckily, they give you serving suggestions and recipes for everything in the newsletter. I am loving this - since you never know what you will get any given pick up, I am going to love the surprises! (yes, I am easily excited....)
