A sentence caught my eye yesterday - "When you read God's word, read to read, instead of reading to have read..... "
So often the story of God's word becomes just another thing on my to do list. "Alright, I can check that off now, I did my bible reading." I want to get away from that - reading because it's what you are supposed to do, instead of because I love the story.
So I am going to figure out where I can fit a bit of quiet in my day, and just enjoy God's word - not study it, not chew it up, not because of duty, but instead
soaking in it - slowly and luxuriously.
